

It will usually be apparent from the hearing why an order has been made.
The Guardianship and Administration Act 1995 enables any person who was aggrieved by a decision of the Board to request a statement of reasons. Such a request must be in writing. A statement of reasons will explain the reasons why the Board came to its decision.
The statement will contain:
You should make your request for a statement of reasons within 21 days of the date of the order of the Board. The statement will then be delivered to you within 21 days.
